Your goal is to drive back these horrors and redeem the family name. You are the heir of a former noble family, damned due to the actions of a hedonistic forebear who spent the family fortune excavating an ancient portal underneath the family estate and inadvertently releasing an untold number of Eldritch Abominations. I was just thinking that I do find it odd that some of the negative traits are described as physical issues, like a torn rotator or something like that, but get cured psychologically and not physically.Darkest Dungeon is a challenging Gothic Horror Dungeon Crawling RPG about the stresses of dungeon crawling, developed by Red Hook Studios. I'm pretty sure I have some of those, but probably not exact opposite effects that I can recall. Thanks for the explanation about the conflicting quirks. I don't run that character often, and I'm sure I can make enough coin to rid her of the negative trait anyway, but thought it may be a bug or mistake that slipped through. I am aware that I can treat the poor twit for one and she'll be able to go to the brothel, fire her and replace her with someone else, or hope that a positive trait replaces "love interest" someday, so it's not really a big deal It's pretty well the same as being both calm and nervous. Read them that way and they're conflicting as it completely prevents stress relief activity. Put simply the effects are *CAN NOT GO TO BROTHEL TO HEAL STRESS* and *MAY ONLY ATTEND BROTHEL TO HEAL STRESS*. I know the wording of each trait does not make them exclude one another, or conflict, however the actual in game effect does. You may be right, but the two are conflicting as it absolutely prevents any and all stress healing activity.
